ANDY STAPLETON

GENERAL CONTRACTOR & PRINCIPAL OWNER

As a young carpenter I cultivated my roots working on both new construction and remodeling projects throughout the coastal towns of New England during the late 1990’s and early 2000’s. More specifically, Cape Cod and the north shore of Massachusetts. I cut my teeth as a carpenter on a framing crew building spec homes around the Cape and Islands. There, I became very familiar with the process of new home construction from foundation to finish, obtaining my first certification as a licensed contractor in 2005.

In the latter part of my formative years, having relocated to the north shore, I focused on the restoration of buildings that were hundreds of years old. I surgically dissected these old homes and reconstructed them with my own hands. All of those experiences carefully molded my perspective as I developed a passion for revitalizing neglected structures, forming the foundation of my vision.

In 2008, I landed on the west coast and have spent the last fifteen years honing my skill-set in the revival of old buildings throughout the greater Bay Area. I obtained my second certification as a licensed contractor, this time for the State of California in early 2016. Since then I have operated my company independently, evolving the focus to include a more custom design/build approach, in addition to the traditional methods I practiced for so long.
